I know we are still early in the 2012 presidential race, but I want to ask the guy in Port Lavaca how he thinks the GOP field is doing. Specifically, after numerous gaffs, horrible showing at debates and the Florida straw vote, how is that Ricky Perry thing working out for you, pal?

I just wanted to say kudos to our city manager and to Tina Crow our Chamber of Commerce manager for the good job that they are doing for our city. We are glad that they are helping Port Lavaca and Calhoun County grow.

Just wanted to say that I think that the Advocate is doing a great job covering the Edna trial of the rapist, and I sure hope that he gets the maximum penalty for the conviction.
