A Victoria man was found guilty last week of aggravated assault.
On March 30, a Victoria County jury found Kristopher Durst, 20, guilty of six counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Monday, the jury assessed him four years in prison on each of the six counts.
After a heated exchange of words with occupants in another car in September, Durst fired a gun, with one bullet hitting the victim's car, according to the news release from the district attorney's office.
No one was injured during the assault.
Assistant Criminal District Attorney Brian Hrach prosecuted the case.
