First Convenience Bank hosts grand opening festivities

First Convenience Bank is hosting grand opening festivities at it new location inside H-E-B, 1505 E. Rio Grande St. on Friday.

A ribbon cutting will be at 9 a.m.

Festivities include a fishbowl drawing for chances to win money, the Fabulous Money Machine, and cake and refreshments.

Joshua Hanchett will lead as branch manager. Hanchett joined the company in January with eight years of banking experience.

"Our current locations are on the other side of Victoria, so this location will be able to provide Victoria a truly convenient bank with locations in all three major shopping areas," he said in a news release.

The branch will be open seven days a week from from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
