The Decora Study Club met March 13 at the Victoria Women's Clubhouse. Thirty-seven members attending heard an inspirational talk by Mike Kinsey, retired intelligence officer and customized consultant. He was introduced by Kathy Ahlstrom.

His wife of 51 years, Sharon, was a special guest. He designated the Early Act-First Knight to receive his honorarium.

Kinsey explained this organization, which promotes ethical behavior and socialization of students at the DeLeon, F.W. Gross, and Torres elementary schools. The skills emphasized are honor, love of country, recognition of good versus evil, and community service.

Jousting demonstrations and knighting ceremonies are highlights of this program. For most of the knighted students, which comprises about one-third of the enrollment, and for their parents, the recognition is the first affirmation of good behavior.

Hostesses for the day were Ann Heinrich, Becky Miller, and Sharon Smith. Members of the social committee were Doreta Keith, Norma Nelson, Davanna West and Zada Watkins.
