Thumbs-up to Bob Johnson and Tommy Means for their individual compassionate response to "Question of the Day" July 24 regarding survivors of the Goliad wreck.
Thumbs-down to the direction of our country. I spent two years in Europe, which has Socialist government. I thought it was a good ideal until I took economics in my second year of college. Look up socialism and see what it means. By the way, I built my own business in 1958 and I worked hard from early morning till late at night. The government did not do it for me.
