One man is still in the hospital after a sport utility vehicle plowed into a building last week.
Robert Casarez, 52, is still in guarded condition in the Intensive Care Unit at Citizens Medical Center, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
Casarez was one of eight people injured after a driver veered off the road and ran into the John Wayne Properties building in the 2600 block of North Laurent Street at about 4:30 p.m., Wednesday. About 20 people were inside the building attending a meeting when a Toyota 4runner came through the wall.
Casarez is the last of the eight victims still hospitalized.
Jessie Bernal, the 54-year-old Victoria driver of the car, was released from DeTar Hospital Navarro, a hospital spokeswoman said.
