60th Anniversary Gilbert and Doris
Gilbert and Doris Krueger, of Goliad, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Gilbert Krueger and Doris Black were married on November 30, 1952 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Victoria.
Gilbert and Doris have 6 children: Alvin Krueger, of Goliad, Katie Krueger, of Goliad, Nita Krueger, of Cuero, Twila (Mark) Wendel, of Schroeder, Linda (Octaviano) Garcia, of Fentress, and the late David Krueger, of Goliad; 9 grandchildren: Clara M. Karnei, of Spring, Christian (Lisa) Krueger, of George West, Matthew (Kristin), Wendel, of Schroeder, David (Tara) Krueger, of Goliad, Melissa Karnei, of Bryan, Vivian Potter, of Victoria, Heather Davila, of Fentress, Kira (Jess) Mudd, of Schroeder, and Robert Thomas (Ashley-fiancee), of Goliad; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Gilbert is a carpenter by trade, for 47 years (retired), and is a lifelong rancher in Goliad, Texas. Doris worked at the Goliad County Hospital as Nurse Aide and has been a lifelong housewife, and helping her husband with ranching. The couple are members of the Mission Valley Zion Lutheran Church. They are proud grandparents and great-grandparents.
