A woman was taken to DeTar Hospital Navarro by Victoria Fire Department Emergency Medical Services after a traffic crash Tuesday morning.

The wreck occurred at 8:05 a.m. near the intersection of Guy Grant Road and North Navarro Street.

Cynthia Harris, 52, pulled out of a private driveway in the 6400 block of North Navarro in a 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer when it was struck by a 2000 BMW traveling north on Navarro, according to Lt. Mike Hernandez, of the Victoria Police Department.

The driver of the BMW, Linda Uthoff, 54, is suspected of running a red light at the intersection and was issued a citation. She was uninjured. Both women were wearing seat belts, said Hernandez.

Harris was listed in good condition late Tuesday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesperson.
