As Pearl Harbor survivors age and pass away, will the memory of that event become less important to Americans?

It is an American historical moment that should never be forgotten. ... These are Americans who gave their lives for our country, and their meaning, their memory and their purpose should always be remembered.

I think it will still be remembered. It is very important and the reason we went into World War II.

To me, it's always going to be on my mind because it's my grandmother's birthday, too.

As they die, the memory will be like the Vietnam War, it will be forgotten. Most young people these days don't care to read about history.
