Matthew Hahn is a new telecommunications operator at the city of Victoria 911 Dispatch Center. He is originally from Kenedy and worked in retail prior to his position with the city.
Walter "Butch" King is a new combination inspector in the city of Victoria Development Services Department. He comes to the department with more than 35 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
Benjamin Gould has been hired as a PC support 2 technician in the city of Victoria Information Technology Department. He earned an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in local and area network administration. He also has a Personal PC and LAN Certification from Victoria College. Gould worked as a network technician for the Victoria Independent School District prior to working for the City.
Brandy LeLeux was recently hired as a library clerk in the circulation department at the Victoria Public Library. Originally from Lake Jackson, she has nine years of library experience and earned a master's degree in library science in August 2012. LeLeux worked as a reference assistant for Montgomery County Memorial Library System in Conroe prior to her new position with the VPL.
Casie Herod is a new cashier in the city of Victoria Utility Billing Office. She has lived in Victoria her entire life and is a graduate of Memorial High School. Before she joined the City, Harod was head cashier at the Home Depot and also worked at the Dollar General.
Steven Solis was recently hired as a code enforcement officer with the city of Victoria. He is from Victoria and worked at Spherion/Randtad as a supervisor for 10 years prior to joining the City.
Joshua Jackson was recently hired as a code enforcement officer with the city of Victoria. He earned an Associate of Science Degree from Victoria College and also has a Class C CDL with Hazmat and LOFS licensing through FedEx Freight. Prior to joining the City, Jackson was corporate lead supervisor for Randstad.
Graig Durant was hired as a graphic designer and assistant to the communications services manager at the Victoria Public Library. He is from Tyler and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in printmaking and collage from the University of Texas-Tyler. Prior to his new position, Durant was assistant manager of FYE Music Store.
Bob Hesse, of the financial services firm Edward Jones in Victoria, recently won the firm's Jack Phelan Award for his exceptional achievement in building client relationships.
Linda Tisdale, a senior branch office assistant at the Edward Jones branch office of Tal Elliott in Victoria, recently attended the annual BOA Managing Partner's Conference at the firm's headquarters in St. Louis.
