AlzCare Assisted Living recently donated $250 in support of Alzheimer's research for each new resident that joined the company's Texas communities. The move was an effort to raise awareness and resources for education and research during Alzheimer's Awareness Month in November, according to an AlzCare news release.
The efforts resulted in a $3,250 donation, according to the release, of which Victoria communities provided $500.
AlzCare has two communities in Victoria and others in cities such as New Braunfels, San Marcos, Garden Ridge and surrounding communities.
