Wrecked

VICTORIA - A black Pontiac G6, driven by Christopher Tobar, no age available, of Victoria, was traveling west on Rio Grande Street when he failed to yield the right of way while making a left turn onto Laurent Street about 3:20 p.m. Friday. Tobar hit a gold Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Courtney Sublett, no age available, of Victoria. Tobar and Sublett had minor injuries and refused treatment. No citations were issued, said Ryan Salles, a Victoria patrol officer.

VICTORIA - A 2006 gray Sierra driven by Janie Fuentes Vasquez, 70, and a 2008 blue Kia Spectra, driven by Laurie Ann Pustka, 50, both of Victoria, at 12:34 p.m. Thursday. Vasquez ran a red light as she was driving through the intersection of Lone Tree and North Ben Jordan Roads. She struck Pustka, who was traveling south on North Bend Jordan Street.



Arrested

VICTORIA - Demetria Lshea Milton, 21, of Victoria, by deputies Wednesday on a warrant charging her with burglary of a vehicle.

VICTORIA - A 17-year-old Victoria man by officers Wednesday on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

VICTORIA - Brenda Lozano Ybarra, 34, of Victoria, by deputies Wednesday on a warrant charging her with driving with an invalid license with previous conviction, suspension without insurance.

VICTORIA - A 34-year-old Victoria man by deputies on Thursday on suspicion of theft between $1,500 and $20,000 and criminal trespass.

VICTORIA - A 41-year-old Victoria man by officers Thursday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, third offense.

VICTORIA - Jose Luis Hernandez, 48, of Victoria, by deputies on Thursday on a warrant charging him with driving while intoxicated, three or more prior convictions.



Stolen

VICTORIA - A vehicle DVD player, speaker box, radio amplifier, valued at $1,475, on Tuesday.

VICTORIA - Seventy gallons of unleaded gasoline from U Haul Rental, valued at $216, on Tuesday.



Damaged

VICTORIA - Trailer lights and reflectors, valued at $200, between Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon at Northside Baptist Church.

VICTORIA - A car window, valued at $300, on Monday.



Burglarized

VICTORIA - A home in the 800 block of South Main Street on Thursday. A TV and a cable box, valued at $1,200, were reported missing.



Assaulted

VICTORIA - A 28-year-old Victoria woman in the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Wednesday.



Indicted

VICTORIA - A Victoria County grand jury indicted the following people on Nov. 29.

David Moises Cabrera, 19, and Jesus Benavides, 20, both of Victoria, on charges of engaging in organized criminal activity, burglary of a habitation and four counts of firearm theft. Cabrera and Benavides are charged with burglarizing a house and taking four guns on July 22, 2011.

Corey Lawrence Bivens, 24, of Victoria, on a charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Bivens is charged with destroying a crack pipe and possessing less than 1 gram of a methamphetamine on Sept. 12.

Wayne Raymond Trumbley, 30, of Victoria, on a charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Trumbley is charged with possessing less than 1 gram of methamphetamine on Sept. 12.

Alberto Hernandez Esparza, 40, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more offense on Sept. 27.

Jesus Salazar, 24, of Telferner, on a charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more offense, on Oct. 9.
