Wrecked

VICTORIA - A 1994 gray Ford F-150, driven by Richard Hunt Sloane, 48, of Victoria, and a 1999 green Honda CR-V, driven by Donald Wayne Salm, 64, of Yoakum, at 3:13 p.m. Thursday. Sloane rear ended Salm at a stoplight in the 7500 block of North Navarro Street, according to police.

VICTORIA - A 2002 tan Toyota Camry, driven by Joseph Brandon Hoelscher, 19, and a 2012 silver Honda Civic, driven by Mary Escalante Rodriguez, 60, both of Victoria, at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday. Hoelscher struck Rodriguez after he ran a stoplight at the intersection of East Mockingbird Lane and Zac Lentz Parkway, according to police. Rodriguez was taken to Citizens Medical Center.



Arrested

VICTORIA - Jo Ann Lefridge, 53, of Victoria, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

VICTORIA - Robert Lynn Mayo, 34, of Karnes City, by deputies Thursday on a warrant charging him with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams.

VICTORIA - A 32-year-old Hallettsville woman by deputies Thursday on suspicion of theft between $50 and $500.



Stolen

VICTORIA - Two Canon cameras, two Canon Rebel TI cameras and another piece of equipment, valued at $830, from a school in the 300 block of West Tropical Drive on Wednesday.

VICTORIA - Merchandise, valued at $98.38, from a business in the 8900 block of Navarro Street on Thursday.



Damaged

VICTORIA - The parking lot of an elementary school in the 2500 block of Mallette Drive by graffiti Thursday. The damage is valued at $100.



Indicted

VICTORIA - A Victoria County grand jury indicted the following people Nov. 29.

Ryan Samora, 17, of Houston, and Russell Lee Delaney, 19, of Victoria, on a charge of burglary of a habitation. They are charged with burglarizing a house and taking guns, alcohol, a computer and a Play Station 3 game console.

Jerome Anthony Bryant, 38, of Victoria, on a charge of aggravated assault of a date, family or house member with a weapon. Bryant is charged with firing a gun at his girlfriend Sept. 7.

Christopher Richard Gregory, 35, of Victoria, on a charge of theft of property greater than $1,500 but less than $20,000. He is charged with stealing gasoline, copper wire, appliances, plumbing and electrical supplies from a business in the 6500 block of Nursery Drive on May 21.

Melissa Marie Medrano, 25, of Victoria, on a theft charge. She is charged with stealing from a business in the 7800 block of North Navarro Street on Oct. 2.

Johnny Joe Hernandez, 29, of Victoria, on a charge of assault of a public servant. He is charged with injuring a Victoria police officer's foot while he was being arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated Sept. 21.

Inocencio Rivera Jr., 56, of Victoria, on a charge of driving while intoxicated with three or more prior convictions Feb. 29.

Julio Maria Rodriguez Jr., 30, of Cuero, on a charge of theft of property with two or more previous convictions and evading arrest detention with a vehicle. He is charged with taking video games, valued at $500, from a business in the 6100 block of North Navarro.

Gregorio Manuel Baladez, 30, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance less than 1 gram, cocaine, in a drug-free zone.

Alexander Pancho Salazar, 37, of Victoria, on a charge of possession of a controlled substance less than 28 grams in a drug-free zone. He is charged with possessing a mixture of Hydrocodone near a school Sept. 18.

Rudy Salazar, 43, of Victoria, on a charge of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, cocaine, in a drug-free zone. Salazar is charged with possessing with the intent to deliver less than 1 gram of cocaine near a school Sept. 18, 2011.
