First responders survey the scene of a three-vehicle wreck on North Navarro Street.

Three people were transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday after a three-car accident.

A silver Ford F-250 truck driven by James Mathiews was stopped for traffic at 6800 N. Navarro St., while a silver Ford Explorer driven by William Webster was parked behind it, said David Brogger, a Victoria police officer.

When a silver Chrysler Sebring driven by Braylin Evans failed to stop, her car hit the Explorer, which led the Explorer to hit the F-250.

Webster and his two passengers were transported to the hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

No citations were issued, Brogger said, although the incident remains under investigation.
