Victoria firefighters clean up the mess from a two-vehicle wreck Friday afternoon at the corner of Nueces and Navarro streets.

A two-vehicle wreck at North Navarro and Nueces streets blocked five lanes of traffic Friday for at least 6 hours.

Senior Patrol Officer Mark Hayden said Shawna Condarco, 19, of Edna, was at fault in the wreck, which split a utility pole in two shortly before 4 p.m.

No injuries were reported, and the wreck caused no power outage.

Condarco was heading east on Nueces Street when her Ford Escape struck a Toyota Tundra driven by Raul Rivera, 33.

Rivera was on the inside lane heading north.

Hayden said the damage to the truck's left side, where Condarco struck it, was minimal. However, Hayden said Rivera swerved, striking the utility pole on the truck's back right side.

Officials still had Navarro blocked as of 10:25 p.m. Friday.
