Compared to last week: The market ended the year on a very strong note. Better quality classes of calves and yearlings sold $4 to $8 higher in all areas. Demand very good.

Packer cows and bulls sold $2 to $3 higher on about 120 head total.

Packer cows: Higher dressing utility and cutter cows, $73-$85.50; lower dressing utility and cutter cows, $62-$73; light weight canner cows, $51-$62.

Packer bulls: Heavyweight bulls, $91-$95.50; utility and cutter bulls, $84-$91; light weight canner bulls, $77-$84.
