Connecticut children not only lives lost tragically

As horrible as the killings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., on Dec. 14 were, there are horrible killings of innocent children every day in America and around the world that are never remembered, never prayed for, never talked about and never for them have flags lowered to half-staff. These are the aborted children.
They are not killed by guns but such things as the morning after pill, a woman's right to choose and legalized abortion (whatever that means), which is the law of the land in America and around the world. In China, they have one child per family, and if it's a girl, she is killed/aborted. Way to go for women's rights, kind of like Nazi Germany in World War II when Jews, mentally ill people, gays, etc. were exterminated. The list was endless.
As we mourn, pray and discuss gun laws, how about pausing for just a moment in our prayers and vigils to remember that our lives begin at conception.
Jesus called a little child over and stood him in their midst and said, "I assure you that unless you change and become like little children, you will not enter the kingdom of God. Whoever makes himself lowly, becoming like this child, is of greatest importance in that heavenly reign." - Matthew 18: 2-4
