The Woodhouse Day Spa will host a couple's massage workshop from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday inside Old Victoria at the Oak Room.

Throughout the event, guests will learn Swedish massage techniques from Woodhouse's registered massage therapists and learn the healing benefits massage offers.

Massage helps couples bond through touch, relax, relief tension and clear the mind, among other benefits, said Jeni Garrett, Woodhouse's founder.

"Our goal is to share our expertise and offer some stress-relieving techniques to try at home," she said, noting Valentine's Day is a good time to reconnect with a significant other.

Guests will receive cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and Valentine's Day gift bags, according to a Woodhouse news release.

The workshop is free but RSVPs are required, as space is limited. To RSVP, email Beth Ohrt at beth@woodhousespas.com or call 877-570-7772.
