Pirates head coach Josh Moore believes they will win when it counts, in the South Texas Club Sports League Championship.

On Monday, the VC Pirates men's basketball team will face off against Coastal Bend College at 7 p.m. in the VC Sports Center gym.
The game caps off a day of festivities at VC as students and employees celebrate Pirates Day.
Admission to the game is $3 for adults and free for any VC student with a college ID card.
Halftime activities will include an announcement of the winner of the Pirate Booty Challenge, followed by games that will include a mascot vs. mascot dance-off, a blind-folded credit card scramble and other prize giveaways.
Pirates Day also kicks off VC's Name the Pirate Contest to help name VC's new mascot. Suggestions for a name will be collected throughout the day and evening.
The Pirate's new name, along with who provided the winning submission, will be announced at a later date.
