The Remember Alex Brown Foundation gave a presentation to Goliad High School students on the dangers of texting and driving on Thursday.
Johnny Mac and Jeanne Brown and their young daughter Kristina Brown, of Wellman, lost their daughter Alex Brown to a texting and driving accident while she was in her senior year of high school.
Now, they travel all over Texas, telling their story and the stories of others who lost loved ones to texting and driving accidents.
They shared statistics of the dangers of texting and driving with the high school students and taught them ways to overcome the urge to use a cell phone at all while driving.
They also travel with Alex's truck to show the damage that occurred during the accident.
