THUMBS-UP

A big thumbs-up on the Revelations column by Jennifer Preyss written on Feb. 18.

I agree with her in that more Christians need to speak out and stick up for each other on matters that publicly offend our God. We defend our football teams to the end, but our God?

John, Cuero

THUMBS-DOWN

Thumbs-down to people who say wind turbines make too much noise. Ever had a drilling rig in your neighborhood? There's no comparison. Wind turbines have a low whir sound. Drilling rigs are as loud as a jet.
