Karnes and Goliad counties watershed master plan to be discussed

The San Antonio River Authority will hold two public meetings to provide information and seek input regarding a watershed master plan for Karnes and Goliad counties. The master plan will address flooding, water quality, stream restoration, low impact development, nature-based park planning, conservation easements, stream mitigation banking and geographic information system mapping.

The first meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Boy Scout Community Center, 450 S. Market St. in Goliad.

A second meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Kenedy City Hall, 303 W. Main St. in Kenedy.
