St. Joseph High School seniors recently participated in raising cancer awareness and raised donations for the American Cancer Society.

The St. Joseph High School football team sold pink wrist bands, wore pink stickers on their helmets and pink shoelaces at football games this season to raise breast cancer awareness. The team raised $500, which will help support various programs, such as the gift item program, day-to-day help and local support groups connected to the American Cancer Society in Victoria County.

The American Cancer Society provides many free programs and services to cancer patients and their families. They offer transportation, recovery programs, prosthesis programs, guest room programs and more. To volunteer, make a donation, or for more information, please visit
