Locally-grown fruits and vegetables will be available to Crossroads residents once again.

The Victoria County Farmers Market opens for its winter season Saturday at 2805 N. Navarro St., in front of the Dr. Pattie Dodson Public Health Center.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays throughout the season, said Noah Thompson, the market's manager.

The market will offer a variety of things, from herbs and plants to pastries and eggs, he said.

Winter fruits and vegetables will include onions, cabbage, cauliflower, spinach and more.
