The Victoria Chamber of Commerce is looking for some input.

The chamber sent an email this week to members, urging them to take part in an 11-question online survey.

The goal is to get feedback regarding what the organization is doing right and areas it can improve, said Randy Vivian, the chamber's president and CEO.

"Hopefully we can take that information, plug it into our programs and make ourselves better, more effective," he said.

In the survey, participants rate the chamber in categories such as its annual events and effectiveness, indicate why they joined the organization and offer up comments regarding areas of improvement, among other things.

Vivian said he hoped to keep the survey available about a week, tabulate the results and share them at the next board meeting, slated for Jan. 20.

Although the questionnaire, is geared toward chamber members, he said it is open to everyone.

"We'd encourage everybody to put their thoughts in," Vivian said.
