Area employers will have the chance to learn about the benefits of employing veterans from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

A free Employer Symposium will be held at the Texas Veterans Commission, 120 S. Main St., Suite 110, inside Workforce Solutions. The symposium will be in the Sam Houston Room on the second floor.

For more information or to register, call Ernie Pemberton, veteran representative, at 361-578-0341, Ext. 204. The deadline for registration is Monday.
