Annual Moulton livestock show Sunday, Monday

The annual Moulton Junior Livestock Show will be Sunday and Monday in the show barn on the campus of Moulton High School.

The number of overall entries is about the same as last year. The number of steers has increased from four last year to nine.

The show will also include 35 hogs, 11 lambs and 13 pens of broilers, said Jamina Vasbinder, Moulton Junior Livestock Show secretary.

Weigh-in begins at 1 p.m. Sunday. Broiler judging starts at 6 p.m. followed by the lambs.

The show continues Monday, at 9 a.m. with hogs followed by the steers.

A buyer's social will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the American Legion Hall in Moulton.

The premium sale will be at the show barn at 8 p.m. Monday.
