I agree with getsmart, a breakdown on how many beds would be needed to recoup the HOT funds based on average room cost and expendatures during visit. Compare with room availability, occupancy of the tiny welder center, etc.
January 18, 2012 at 5:16 p.m.I think the Advocate should use editorial space to thank the president for killing the oil pipeline from Canada. We certainly don't need oil from a stable, friendly neighbor when we can import it from the middle east. The president has shown his contempt for America and her energy needs by this action. He says the Republicans are at fault because they wanted to impose a 60 day period in which the decision could have been studied. Bravo Sierra. Obama has had months to think about it. He is willing to take this action to harm the country and make its future energy supplies more uncertain. Thanks again, BO.
January 18, 2012 at 5:16 p.m.I'm really looking forward to the new Victoria recycling program and I hope there are a decent number of fellow Victorians who will consider giving it try. What I would like to see is some details on the program. Such as; who made the decision to go forward with it and on what financial info for long term, where does the recycle material get separated and by what type of a machine, etc....
January 18, 2012 at 4:50 p.m.What about the exchange between Juan Williams and Newt Ghigrich? That was a slap to the face of MLK.
