Wow... These are brand new facilities... Why was this not addressed when designing the new schools? This is very typical of Victoria... So glad that we got the multi million dollar pool and fine arts center.... Those events really draw the crowds and bring the big bucks! And whats the deal with hiring a coach that cant even win a game...These two are old golfing buddy's. I bet the other applicants never had a chance....

Before VISD decides to sink more funding (read: MY Tax money) into new athletic facilities - maybe they should spend a few dollars addressing the ACADEMICALLY UNACCEPTABLE ratings for BOTH East and West High Schools. It seems like having HS students that can function at a MINIMAL level in Math and Science would be a priority for a school district...

But God forbid we have a losing season. * sigh *
