Bobby and Sandra Strauss and Mark and Agnes Lauer are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Chelsea Renea Lauer, of San Antonio, to Thomas Nicholas Fagan, of San Antonio, son of Nick and Terresa Fagan, of Refugio.

Chelsea is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wenske, of Shiner, Gladys Strauss and the late Joe Strauss, of Shiner, and Joseph and the late Mary Ann Lauer, of Yoakum.

Thomas is the grandson of the late Dr. and Mrs. T.T. Fagan, of Tivoli, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bert Herridge, of Eastland.

Chelsea is a 2004 graduate of Shiner High School, a 2008 graduate of Texas State University, and a 2011 graduate of the University of North Texas with a Masters Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is employed by Little Engine Home Care in San Antonio.

Thomas is a 2003 graduate of Refugio High School and a 2007 graduate of Texas State University. He is employed by Halliburton as a Drilling Fluids Engineer.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on July 19, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.
