Wreck sends three to hospital

Victoria firefighters lift Ceasar Rodriguez, 18, into the back of an ambulance about 4:30 p.m. to transport him to Citizens Medical Center.

Three Victoria residents were transported to the hospital Sunday after a three-vehicle wreck.

Rodriguez was traveling in the back seat of a green 1996 Ford Mustang, driven by Jose Luis Rodriguez. Rodriguez's vehicle was struck by Corben Pitt, 21, of Mineral Wells, who was driving a white Dodge Ram pickup.

Carmen Rodriguez, 18, was riding in the front passenger seat of the Mustang, and was also transported by ambulance to Citizens.

Rodriguez's Mustang struck a gold, 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Joshua Molina, 29, of Victoria. Molina was also transported by ambulance to Citizens. No citations were issued, said Victoria Police Senior Patrol Officer, Jason T. Sager.
