Law enforcement officials continued their search Tuesday for a Port Lavaca man who disappeared June 26.

David Willoughby, 52, was last known to be driving a white 2012 Honda Civic hybrid about 9 p.m. Although he planned to pick up a friend in Rockport, he never arrived at the man's home.

Weekend searches revealed no sign of Willoughby or his vehicle.

A representative with the Port Lavaca Police Department on Tuesday said she had no updates regarding the case.

Charlene Willoughby, the missing man's wife, said the Texas Ranger Division of the Texas Department of Public Safety recently joined the search, but that she had not learned anything more.

"We just hope to get him home," she said.

Anyone with information about David Willoughby or his whereabouts is asked to call the Port Lavaca Police Department at 361-552-3788 and ask for Detectives Colin Rangnow or Josh Smith.
