Chericka Waynette Hilburn and Ron O'neal Johnson, both of Houston, were married at 6 p.m. on June 9, 2012 at Villa Antonia in Jonestown, TX. Rev. Kevin VanHook of Victoria officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Roslyn Clough-Hilburn of Desoto, TX and Derrick Hilburn of Dallas, TX. She is the granddaughter of Arletha Clough of Marshall, TX, and the late Edward Clough of Marshall, TX and Willie Dean Hilburn of Compton, Ca., and the late Mattie Hilburn of Compton, Ca.

The groom is the son of William and Janice Johnson of Victoria. He is the grandson of Lena Wilson of Victoria and the late Lawrence Perry of Independence, La., and the late Austin Lee Johnson Sr. and Gladys Johnson of Victoria.

Camillia McKinney of San Antonio attended as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristyl Crayton of Boston, MA, F. Candice McCoy of Tampa, FL., Camille Doty of Victoria, and Britney Massey of Atlanta, GA.

Ren Haynes of Martindale served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Griffin of Fresno, Rian Martin of Katy, Chet Schrader of Coppell, and Isaac Theus Sr. of Houston.

Ushers were Kyri Abram of Victoria, Edward Hilburn of Desoto, Tx, Erick Hilburn of Dallas, TX, and Frank Rattay of Newport, RI. Flower Girl was Kari Frazier of Houston, TX, Ring Bearers were DeAndre Brown of Lancaster, TX and Kaleb Parker of Dallas, TX.

A reception was held following the ceremony onsite at Villa Antonia. Following wedding travel to Bali, the couple will make their home in Houston.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Duncanville High School and a 2004 graduate of Florida A& M University in Tallahassee, FL with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She is currently employed with Altria Group Distribution Co. in Houston as a Territory Sales Manager.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Stroman High School and a 2001 graduate of Newman University in Wichita, KS with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is currently employed with Creative Channel Services in Houston as a Field Marketing Representative for Samsung Home Appliances.
