Police rescue 2-year-old girl locked in Cadillac

The Victoria Police Department broke open the window of a black Cadillac SRX after they received a call that a child was locked inside. The mother of the 2-year-old girl accidentally locked the keys and the child in the vehicle Thursday in the Victoria Mall parking lot, said police officer Justin Surber. The mother had a bystander call police, who broke the window with a Starrett Punch after seeing the child in duress and sweating. The child was locked in the car for about 10 minutes and was uninjured. She received a toy from the Victoria Police Department to calm her down.
