Evangelist Tammie Smith, of God Said it Full Gospel Ministry Church in Houston, will be the keynote speaker at the Sistas in Action Conference at 10 a.m., Saturday. The conference will be at New Revelation Ministries located at 358 Foster Field Drive. The theme will be "The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power." Other speakers include Cheryln Hodge, of New Revelation Ministries; Brenda Strother, of Mount Zion Baptist Church; and Jackie Thomas, of St. Joseph Baptist Church. Adult admission is $15, under age 17 is $5. Proceeds benefit the Victoria fan drive and Thanksgiving meals for needy families.
