Good morning oatmeal

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 7 hours

• 1 cup steel cut oats

• 1 pear, chopped

• 1 apple, chopped

• 1 1/2 cups of water

• 1/2 cup H-E-B cranberries

• 2 Tbsp. flaxseed

• 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla

• 1 1/2 cups H-E-B Mootopia fat-free milk or milk substitute

• 2 Tbsp. brown sugar substitute

Combine all ingredients plus the water in a slow cooker. Set on low, cover, and let cook overnight. In the morning, stir in more milk to reach desired thickness. Sweeten to taste.

Exercise: Reuben Ybarra has really been enjoying something new - aqua zumba. The aerobic exercise helps make him sweat and is easy on his joints and muscles. He will continue walking and lifting light weights at the YMCA.
