Hopefully this "memorial" will be taken care of better than the one by Chubbys (or whatever it's called now).
Was in that area 5-6 months ago and saw it across the road and I thought someone dumped a buch of trash there.
I guess we'll see in a few months, a year, or few down the road.
I agree that it was a tragedy for so many to have died especially the children. However do not forget that they were traveling illegally and taking huge risks by doing so. I can not imagine what kind of conditions they were leaving behind in their country and wanting a better life is understandable. But at the same time whenever you make a choice to break the law or put your life in the hands of those who are breaking the law, you are accepting responsibility for whatever consequences or risks might be associated. We should not be turning those who break the law into martyrs.
