  • mamaj,

I'd give them a break if it truly was just "every once in a while".
It isn't just this story. It's a LOT of stories.

It's endemic to the paper as a whole.

But VicAd's *bleep* don't stink and they can do no wrong.. So I won't be holding my breath for them to get better any time soon.

  • I agree with the grammatics but i am glad that vic-ad is following this story
my son played football with this young man and we have known this family since the boys were little, I think vic-ad is doing a great job covering this unfortunate story.. man give them a break every once in a while..

  • Familyman...you are talking to a brick wall. I am to the point of just rolling my eyes; I despair of them ever hiring a reporter who actually has a grasp of the english language. Of course, I must say I do NOT compare the online copy with the printed copy, so I have no idea if the errors are the same.

Funny story...16 years ago, when I first moved here from Austin, one of the very first stories I read in the Advocate stated in bold headlines that President Clinton was an ancestor of Queen Elizabeth I. Really? Must be a time traveler! I have not seen a lot of improvement over the years (but don't even go to the TV station website...you will faint from the typed stories there!).
