It's time to build sewer plant, not play politics

As a taxpaying citizen of Victoria, I am tired of hearing about the proposed sewer plant and the problems therewith. Nobody wants a sewer plant close to their back door. However, this plant, with current state-of-the-art expertise and construction, should be a problem to no one.
In Houston, Temple, Round Rock and Sugar Land, there are plants within a short distance of very expensive housing. Yet no one is complaining.
I am sure people years ago did not want outhouses in their yards, but it was a necessary item.
What is upsetting is how certain members of this council are creating costly roadblocks or obstacles to this sewer plant for purely political reasons.
Many citizens and I are tired of hearing this crap. Forget the sewer plant. Let's all build outhouses. Then you can keep your own crap at home and that would end all this squabbling. Why not just shut up and get the plant built at less cost to taxpayers?
