Will you stop being a U,S. Citizen because once upon a time the laws of the land enforced minorities to sit in the back of the bus or slavery?
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
1 ¶ For the law(Old Testament) having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law, (Old Testament)
9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first,(OT) that he may establish the second.(New Testament)The OT was full of types & shadows, it only spoke of a day to come in the future (present). The OT was imperfect, that which is perfect has now come.

Now I have a question for you; thousands of years ago & through out all the earth where man kind lived, we find humans sacrificing animals & burning them. In worship, spilling there blood for cleansing purposes & blessings.
We know the native Indians did this, as well as the Mayans,Incas,Europeans,Celts etc etc. Who told these peoples to do this? Where did they get this inspiration? What could of possibly influenced the whole earth that there was a God & these sacrifices where what He wants??? Thousands of years ago there where no Jewish missionaries, The Gentiles where considered heathens & cave men, living in the jungles of Africa, South America, Europe etc. There was no Bible tracts to be mailed out, no Internet, TV, radio broadcast etc. The answerer is that the Spirit of the living God permeated the Glob. Man was designed to be a worshiper, he is a spiritual being that has flesh. Man being sensitive to his creator picked up on the message (light) of the hour, & thus tried his best to carry out God wishes, even though it is clear no one told them to do it.

For the answerers keep on reading the Bible. In the beginning it was a perfect world In a perfect paradise; the weather was good, everything was at peace. Adam & Eve along with everything else was in harmony. No murder, abortion, war, disease, divorce etc etc.
satan was permitted entrance, but he was & still is basically powerless with out human vessels to work through. Now with the combination of your ancestors bad choices & satan the harmony of Gods perfect paradise was broken. The relationship/fellowship that man kind had with God was disrupted.
Thankfully The Lord Jesus made a way in part to reunite that broken fellowship & restore peace, harmony to the individual who will accept Gods provided way. By one mans(Adam) disobedience we were thrown into chaos & by one mans obedience (Jesus) we now can be restored back to our original intended position of harmony/friendship with God.
You might say well if I would have been back at the beginning I wouldn't of made those mistakes that Adam & Eve made, I would of obeyed God & been faithful. Our choices today of not obeying God (presently)is a pretty good indicator of what we would of really done. In another words we are given the same choice today that God gave Eve so many years ago. We are placed here on free moral agency. If we fail we have no one to blame but ourselves, like Adam we choose how our outcome will be. Its a team effort between us & God. Your part is to recognize that you/we are sinners & that we need help, HIS part is to give it.
While Abraham Lincoln was president there was a army deserter, he got scared in battle & went awall.
The man was scheduled to be executed, word got to Pres Abraham & he had pity on the man & wrote & signed a pardon for him. When the man in prison was presented with the signed pardon, he refused to accept it, he mistook it as a joke or not legitimate. So he was shot as a deserter. It soon it became law that a pardon thats not received as a pardon is nul & void. And so is it today, The Lord Jesus signed our pardon with HIS on blood. Dear friends think on these things awhile & pray about it.

i just can't bring myself to believe that there is actually a "God" out there that lets children that he created in "his own image" die.... people say that god has a plan for everybody and that everything is already planned out before it happens....well to me that makes "God" a murderer.... abortion is supposed to be a terrible sin but everybody says that "everything happens for a reason" so why would this so called great "God" let that happen??? the facts don't lie.... the bible on the other hand...well you know the answer to that one lol. -

oh and i have a question that some of the religious fanatics might be able to answer.... if satan punishes the bad people then doesn't that make him the good guy?
The Word says hell was created for satan & his angels, when he (satan) does get there (hell) I dont think he will have much time to punish anyone.
What satan is, is a tormentor; he will lure & tempt you into a life of sin & unbelief and then condemn you & remind that you are going to a place of torment. A place where you will scream for mercy, but no mercy or relieve will be given. RELIGIOUSE FANATIC!!! sounding better & better all the time.
Satan has tried to predict my future many times, but I remind him that his future does not look so bright either. Satan rejoices when he can help some one into drugs, alcohol, adultery & watch your God given life turned into a satan given miserable/unhappy disaster. Satan promises/allurements sound great but in the end divorce, suicide, abortion, prison, loneliness, motherless children, dysfunctional homes etc are the results.satan tells us all the time that Gods Word is not true, & yet he quoted it to Jesus & Eve in the garden, sometimes he may admit that its true but offers his interpretation of it. If you notice satan normally offers an easier way out. (cater to the flesh) As he did to Jesus; just worship me & I (satan) will give you all theses kingdoms/cities, notice who the cities belonged to. But Jesus knew that after His crucification He would fall heir to everything, including us. He chose the harder way with us in mind, now will we chose Him?
Satan offered Eve a supposed better way, but all that it caused was death & separation from God. Satan desires to be worshiped & followed, he is a thief & a liar. He comes to steal & destroy.
Jesus cares for us, do we care for HIM? He has come to do us good. Lets seek Him while He yet may be found. You will never regret it. If HE knocks on your hearts door, let Him in. be brave, be different.
God bless Gary White

Our church has multiple ethnicities and I have not noticed any one particular grouping of people. That being said....ImRich's statement is a valid one. People are going to gather with others that they feel comfortable with. This isn't ALWAYS about race....go to any party and you will find people grouping by sports, hunting, cooking, male, female...and the list goes on forever.

rrangel- Satan was God's #1 angel at one time until he thought he was better than God and tried to take over. God banished him to hell and that is where he remains. Does that help answer your query?

"God just started speaking to me, and I knew that he just wanted me to come over here," she said. "I would ask him, 'Are you sure?' Because I was in the black culture all my life, but he would answer me, 'Do you not know that I know what's best for you?'"

wow you need help... hearing voices that answer your own questions is never a good sign lol.
oh and i have a question that some of the religious fanatics might be able to answer.... if satan punishes the bad people then doesn't that make him the good guy? -
lol. I think its funny that you called someone ignorant and then used the eloquent phrase "did you acquired it "...
I am quite familiar with the NT. I read parts of it daily. I hear sermons preached on it weekly. I attend a bible study group and TEACH another. Lots of small portions are 'hidden in my heart'. And my personal beliefs are based on years of bible study and exploration - NOT what someone or some group 'fed' me growing up.
So, I politely repeat my earlier statement.
"Which New Testament did you read? Mine has a different message..."
To prove your point, you'll need to provide an example of one of the verses in the NT that shows one of your named groups hating another.
I'll start:
You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you... Matt 5:43-44 (NIV)

Ok I am blowing the whistle on that play, its almost March madness you know. Zap take your free throws & resume play. This is Gary, & I will be the referee for this Saturday nights game. Dont forget that tomorrow is Sunday & we dont want any hindrances (frustrations) to distract us from worshiping.
Ok play ball.

"Most of the New Testament is written about the Jews Hating the Gentiles. The Romans hating the Jews; the gentiles hating the greeks etc."
Which New Testament did you read? Mine has a different message...

If we want freinds the Bible says that we must show our selves freindly.
Sometimes instead of waiting for a invatation we must give out one. But I do hear your point & its probably a valid one.
