Cocaine, valued at $2 million, seized

Cocaine, weighing 27.4 kilos, was found in a recreational vehicle during a traffic stop Friday afternoon.

The Victoria County Sheriff's Office seized an estimated $2 million in cocaine during a traffic stop Friday afternoon.

The 27.4 kilos of cocaine were found hidden in a compartment in a recreational vehicle stopped for a traffic violation about 3:15 p.m. on John Stockbauer Drive at U.S. Highway 59, according to a new release from the Victoria County Sheriff's Office.

Arrested and charged with manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance penalty greater than 400 grams were Jose Ramiro Colchado, 45, of Corpus Christi, Martha Castillo, 31 of Harlingen, and Ruth Dominguez, 29 of Harlingen.
