    "The A&M system already is less expensive than others..."

    uh... no.

    Although a quick glance will show lower costs at the A&M sites in Laredo and Texarkana, a digging deeper will reveal that costs at other A&M sites are roughly equal to many other college systems throughout the state. Costs to attend the 'flagship' campus are HIGH and getting worse.

    Compare UHV and A&M-Kingville. No huge savings there.

    Bringing the A&M system into Victoria will NOT reduce college costs.
