Currently a good friend's brother lays in a VA hospital trying to survive while the VA drags their feet. He has a hole in his heart that has resulted in two strokes. First they said he needed surgery that could only be done in AZ. They waited for a day for transfer orders. Then were told that he could just have open heart surgery. The next day they were told he would not survive open heart surgery and needed it done by heart cath. But they did not know where he could have it done. So three days later he waits. This is how those who protected us are still treated. Says alot for government run healthcare.
