Music greats like Willie Nelson and up-and-coming artists, like Kyle Park, have at least one thing in common - they've hit the stage in Schroeder Hall.

With names like Nelson and Park, it should not be surprising the dance hall was voted best place to listen to country music.

Park used to open for other acts and for the past few years he's headlined his own show at the second oldest dance hall in Texas.

Co-owner Sharon Kleinecke said she has great relationships with many of the artists.

"We're helping develop a fan base," she said.
