WHAT: Lyceum Lecture presents Temple Grandin, a scientist with autism on whom an HBO film starring Claire Danes was made.

WHERE: VISD Fine Arts Center, 1002 Sam Houston Drive

WHEN: 7 p.m. Thursday

COST: Free and tickets are not required



IF YOU GO

WHAT: Second Annual Walk 4 Autism

WHEN: 8-9 a.m. Saturday registration, 9 a.m. opening ceremony, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. walk and carnival

WHERE: Riverside Park close to the horse arena.
