Fossati's Deli whips up a recipe for success through its tasty lunches, walkable location and 130-year-old history.

Co-owner Therese Bomersbach said she is proud voters picked the restaurant as the best business lunch location.

"We see the same people coming in over and over, and it feels good to see them keep coming back," she said.

Since her grandfather opened the deli on March 3, 1882, the family has maintained the same high level of quality and taste.

She said some favorite menu items are the Dutch Lunch, a plate of meats and cheeses paired with homemade mustard, choice of bread and scoops of potato salad and coleslaw, and the Frank Napoleon Submarine, filled with turkey, ham, provolone and cheddar on a poorboy roll.

The chicken salad sandwich is by far the most ordered.

"It's our number one seller over everything," she said. "People come on Fridays and buy two, three or four pints for their weekend."

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
