Best Romantic Restaurant: Olde Victoria at the Oak Room
If the food doesn't get you, the view will.
For the third year in a row, Olde Victoria at the Oak Room, the pinnacle of Victoria dining, won in the romance category.
Co-owner Ferydoun Darshad said the restaurant's elegance adds a sense of sophistication to Victoria's growing downtown nightlife.
"It's something that you would find in a metropolitan city and it's right here in Victoria," he said.
Some of the most requested entrees include tornodos capri, which are beef tenderloin medallions, also popular are rack of lamb and roasted duck.
The food is complemented by the backdrop of Venetian decor and panoramic views of the city.
"It's a special place to take your sweetheart," Darshad said.
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday.
