Hastings' selection as the best music store in the Crossroads is likely based on two factors, said store manager Rich Dennis.

"It's our large selection, our inventory," he said.

Dennis also believes that his staff plays a role.

"We have great associates who provide excellent customer service," Dennis said. "They are also knowledgeable about the music we sell and that is something customers appreciate."

Hastings is open from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sunday.
