Blake Farenthold hosts 'Blizzards with Blake'

A congressional candidate will stop in Victoria on Saturday for a public discussion.
U.S. Congress District 27 candidate Blake Farenthold will host "Blizzards with Blake" from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Dairy Queen, 2801 E. Red River St.
Farenthold is seeking the Republican Party nomination for the seat.
The campaign stop is an opportunity for voters to discuss local issues that are important to this election, according to a campaign news release.
Farenthold is being challenged by John Grunwold, Trey Roberts and Don Al Middlebrook for the Republican Party nomination.
Jerry Trevino, Murphy Alade Junaid, Ronnie McDonald and Rose Meza Harrison are seeking the Democratic Party nomination for the office.
