Election polls for Victoria's City Council, city charter and Victoria College's bond election open Saturday morning. Voters across the Crossroads also go to the polls to vote on municipal and school races.

On Election Day, voters must cast their ballots at their respective precinct polling places. Those locations are based on new, redistricted boundaries.

Several new polling locations are set up for election precincts.

All registered voters in the county received a voter registration card with their election precinct number listed. The uniform Election Day uses school district boundaries in assigning polling places, according to a news release from the county elections office.

Precinct 5 will vote at Crain Elementary School, 2706 N. Azalea St.

The new Precinct 6 will vote at Family Worship Center, 501 Sam Houston Drive.

Precinct 9 changed boundaries and will vote at the National Guard Armory, 106 E. Mockingbird Lane.

Precinct 31 is a new precinct inside the city limits and will vote at Tanglewood Clubhouse, 401 Rosewood St.

The use of school district boundaries creates the following polling place changes.

Precinct 12 - Victoria school district voters will vote at William Wood Elementary School, 193 Wood Hi School Road.

Precinct 15 and 16 - Voters from Victoria ISD will vote at Aloe Elementary, 62 Chaparral Drive.

Precinct 23 and 24 - Voters within Victoria ISD will vote at Vickers Elementary School, 708 Glascow St.

Precinct 23 and 24 - Voters within Nursery ISD will vote at the Precinct 2 Service Center, 13323 Nursery Drive.

Precinct 27 - Voters who are in VISD and north of U.S. Highway 59 will vote at Precinct 4 Portable Building, 14721 J-2 Ranch Road.

Precinct 27 - Voters who are in VISD and live south of U.S. 59 will vote at William Wood Elementary School, 193 Wood Hi School Road. Precinct 15 - Voters in Refugio school district will vote at McFaddin School Building, 1993 A Farm-to-Market Road 445, McFaddin.

Precinct 16 - Voters will vote at Kemper City Community Center, 405 Kemper City Road South.

Voters should check the election precinct number on their voter registration cards and the school district designation to determine their voting location.
